Checkpoint

A saved snapshot of a fully-trained image model — the file that defines the base aesthetic.

A checkpoint is the 5–25 GB file that contains every weight in a trained diffusion model. Flux Pro, SDXL Base, and community models like RealisticVision are all checkpoints. Different checkpoints have different built-in aesthetics, anatomies, and prompt vocabulary.

Synexa exposes the best modern checkpoints under one interface so you don't need to manage GBs of files.
