CFG Scale (Classifier-Free Guidance)
A slider that controls how literally the model follows your prompt versus how much creative freedom it takes.
CFG Scale (sometimes called Guidance Scale) determines how strongly the diffusion model is pushed toward your text prompt. Low values (1–4) let the model be creative and produce more varied, often more aesthetic results. High values (10–20) force the model to obey the prompt literally, which can produce over-saturated, burnt-looking images.
A good starting range for Flux is 3.5; for SDXL it is 7. Push it higher when your subject keeps drifting from the prompt, lower when results look fried.
